Had a heart to heart chat with Dan Jian.

I have to state that I learn a great deal about what was happening around me...

Er Gugu is doing badly and is keeping financial problems to herself,
Er Gu's Husband has testicles cancer for some years now...

But MORE importantly, it is interesting how past experience is related to current circumstances...

Dan Jian states he needs 120~200 cars per month then I relate that he should have around 5~6 workers; for back then, I got 11 with me and my only concern then was to get 400 cars to sustain the business. My strategy on sales only was futile and I still recall the telemarketing for car agents & shops, insurance companies. With Mary unwilling to make calls, stating it is 100% failure, with Gek Tiang & Tee Kia's wife making a whole mess from within.

I also revealed my plans to rent "Skinny Boss" area in event of more cars.

Our talk linked to "Skinny Boss" who has no fire (passion) to fight on and is now surviving on Claims and is manipulated by a "TALL" worker; he was paid SGD 600 per week for minimal work. This "TALL" worker had also give Dan Jian a fair share of headache with his constant "2 headed snakes" approach to his workers. 1 is now currently becoming worse in workmanship, and the other, a car washer, had changed of heart to another company.

Dan Jian shared with me the plans to ensure that he now has 2 very abled and loyal subcontractors with him, who brought in businesses. Dad's workshop is all was doing well now. I shared with him the profitability of Car Agents Contracts with Tee Kia's Kah Motor Spare Body Parts painting that last a few months till end of year. He also revealed to me that Tee Kia stole Dad's Contract to get Kah Motor Business; at a discount.

Mr.Lim has intention to move on. Dad's dream to retire at 75 and travel around the world to Hong Kong, Japan, America, Taiwan and Australia.

Tonight brief meeting review missed out Jye Shin and Dad's participation, though Dad did participate later with funny outcome. Father revealed his unhappiness with Alan (the "Fat Boss") which DJ claimed that Alan has changed into a good man now and has given DJ lots of help; he is moved I can see. And also, Father is not happy with 2 subcontractors who keep ignoring Father's instructions and continue to drink in workshop; during working hours.

Dad did reveal to me to keep his ideals to ourselves, him and me only.
So he appears to be a little upset when I bring up some of his ideas.

As it is, Mum, we shall see what can be done.
There will be a 3~5 years plan, followed by 7~10 years then 12 ~ 15 years.

I revealed to Dan Jian that my original intend for father's Public Trustee committee is when Jye Shin is 21 yrs old; so that it will be fair to all 3 of us and all of us will be into the committee together. Dan Jian seems to have the intention to enter with just he and I, let Mr.Lim exit first then let Jye Shin enters later.
