25th Aug 2007

Interesting today and yesterday,

Yesterday, after a morning swim, I meet up with the ex-colleagues at ICA for lunch. By chances met Jack (Sparrow) and Darren, they look great. Then follow up with Terrance and the other guys. JJ still there, and Xiang Ming still there (his last day then) and so are Terrance and Patrick. Things have come to a standstill since the CIRIS project and everything have since returned to normal at ICA (at least for the ICA staffs, haha). Oh I also happened to meet Perm (pronounced "Pray-m"), the cool suave security officer; btw she is female.

After that I head straight for SIM to catch up on my studies. Saw a female with stunning outfit. She wore a white cap, a short canvas skirt, white sport shoes, and a high collar white polo-T with green stripes. Then after a quick glimpse, up in my mind, I draw up an illustration. I replaced her short jeans with normal jeans. Suddenly she doesnt look that "stunning" to me anymore. Then I continue further to replace the person in that outfit to a male. And she now look like a freak to me. Funny way our brain works, haha (I must have been too deep into neural network research =P)

The ironic and the climax for today is that I saw exactly the same illustration I came up myself yesterday. There is this man, white the SAME high collar white polo-T with green strips, a spiar of blue jeans, and a pair of white sport shoes (without the white cap though). I leaked a laughter and wonder why men perceive clothings as such great importance when in fact, they are more clown than anything else...

Anyway, I figured something yesterday, in this world (at least in this society) you can misplace anything, except one, and that is trust. Once misplaced, the recovery is tough and expensive...
