15th Nov 2007

Things are going not too bad today.

Ruder seems fine today, more at calm and peace, except against Andrew, our Project Manager. Oh well, he needs at least one "target" to vein his "extra" hormones level.

Today I got 3 PCs at once for a start, with Old Coconut, Teck Ming, Gerald and RongHua. We all manage to finish earlier with Teck Ming last, and we all threw our "Naruto Smoke Bomb" to smoke out ASAP before the users bomb us with requests.

After I gather with the rest waiting for Teck Ming, I realised that Teck Ming seems to be "outcast" by many people. While Teck Ming likes to nonsense at times, I felt a fantastic soul within. I enjoy talking with him, there are no pressure and there is no "intention-guessing" game like Andrew the muscle guy, who has little trust in someone else, always second-guessing others' intention and action. Man, is it not a chore and waste of time? Time and brainpower that can be better use to help others.

I lied to Ruder that I going toilet, I quickly went up to give Teck Ming a helping hand. Luckily, it seems to me that my helping of Teck Ming to "smoke out" together goes quite smoothly. Not too many users around, fast in fast out, just in time to leave with others. "Leave no man behind" Somehow this is not so the culture in this team...

Later this afternoon, after lunch, after finish configuring a PC at the same time with another team member, "no idea whats his name". We proceed to next PC in our seperate ways. He seems to find Daniel while I found Chua to lead the way.

Chua lead me to a lady who told me that there are 3 more PCs to do. 1 in a corner, 1 each in a room beside each other. Somehow we ended up doing a single PC in seperate rooms just beside each other; I got in much earlier, its only after he appear at the doorstep of the room I am in do I realise that he is in the other room.

A while later after backing up, I went to search for Daniel only to see him in the other room with the same "guy-of-name-I-do-not-know" for PC Sticker Tag. While waiting, Daniel asked the same "guy-of-name-I-do-not-know" the number of PCs done thus far. His reply? "Four, this is my fifth."

Since I already had 5 under my belt, I thought it should be fine to let him run the 2 PCs just seperated by a paper wall, while I go do my 6th and the last at the corner. Yet, somehow I thought all will be fine till I was told that the one in the corner had already been done.

Oh dear, I a goner. Luckily there is another room with 5 PCs, I took one while Ah'Ber taking 2 after taking over Hans; the 2 PCs has multi-printers...

Anyway, there seems to be another team doing what-they-call "IP Migration", they are from ST (Singapore Technologies) after my asking. I was introduced for the 2nd time KVM device - Keyboard, Video (Monitor), Mouse. This allow switching between displays for a single monitor over multiple CPUs.

While observing, I see that Ah'Ber was busy with one PC, and I was free. Somehow, I just walk over to offer my help. This "help" end up to be a hurdle morelike. Ah'Ber requested for me to just log off, just then the user call to me that the PC is ready for my configuration, and I somehow shut Ah'Ber's PC down without me realising it. I feel like crap as I walk back to my PC and told Ah'Ber that I will be doing my PC and he is to do the backup.

I felt aweful despite apology as Ah'Ber has no reply. I knew he is "second-guessing" somehow, but no doubt its my mistake, at the worst time and place, the worst kind of chemistry - misunderstanding.

However, he took initiative to tell me that he is going off to avoid the "bomb". This makes me glad as I at least could feel that he is not second-guessing me. I take this chance to apologise to him again. I feel better. However, I know I cannot avoid the "user-bomb" due to the LONG backup time...

I felt someone is double-crossing me, Uncle Chong and Old Coconut seems to look at me in a awkward manner. And I happen to be told that I let out my PC to "the-guy-whose-name-I-dont-know" purposely in front of Daniel to gain favour... man, it really doesn't pays to be kind to some people... but this will NOT wilter my principle and my integrity.

After work, I leave for my final lecture with Mr.Yep, one of the best lecturer I had seen so far. He is the most humble, most patience I ever seen. Even with the silliest of questions, he took his time and effort to reply in all seriousness. I respect and he is now my role model in what a "teacher should be". I got a handshake from him, it is the firmest and warmest shake I ever had. (No pain from squeezing and such, haha)

Today, I learnt something. This something that suddenly flash into my mind before I sleep.

"Big Fish eats Small Fish, Small Fish eats Shrimps and Rice, Rice feeds on dirt and mud"

This is not wrong but incorrect to harbour such thought. I refine...

"Never stop to become Stronger, the Strong will become Stronger, Strong help Weaker to become Strong." In the end, ALL are Strong, ALL are happy."

I felt good mum, hope tomorrow a better day. =D

Oh yea, over the lunch, I notice that "Old Coconut" seems extremely "tired" and he somehow blurred out something unbelievable... He told me that Ruder is "Bullying Weak, Fearing Strong".
I told him that Ruder is not such man, at least I do not see that as of now. That is not the unbelivable part, whats truely unbelievable is that he challenged me to do so. I just smile it off and reply, "Ruder has his cons, but on the whole he is quite ok".

I mean, all man has their cons and pros. It just how you see it. Just nice for the golden advice Mr.Yep gave me.

"If you seek fault, faults you will find. If you seek good, good abounds"

Anyway, if u ask me, I think Ruder needs "Anger Management" and the "HOUSHA" magic word ;)
