Deepavali today, Home is peaceful without KAren around. She is indeed relundent to this home, like KEn in the past.

Had a good chat with Dad during our lunch. Joked about Gek Tiang and Suay Muay, our accursed Aunts, and father's sisters.

I joked about how "sincere" Gek Tiang is with her frequent visits, to check on him. I joke that she is trying to get Dad to remember her face, esp when he is near his death bed. I can see that Dad pretty clear minded as from this lunch conversation. Still he is not as strong will as before and can still be easily suayed by people...

I know father is trying to tease me with them so that I will work harder so that they cant belittle me. I will work hard on it, please put faith in me Mom, I am still having difficulty discipling myself.
