Today is an interesting day.

Learn a good joke from my lecturer.

The joke was about my lecturer in his army days,

after the nonsentical training at BMT he was finally posted out somewhere to some camps, where he never had to knock it down ever again in his life.
then one fine day his company was assigned a new OC, from another division.

My lecturer did not know this OC till their path crossed.

So that particular fine day, this OC, who was wearing his admin attire demanded my lecturer to knock it down 50, for not greeting him. "My lecturer added that he learnt later after taking some punishment, it is best to play dead. Then they will be very scare and they will then treat you like godfather from then on.

That OC, as my lecturer described, is the type who see someone and feels uneasy if nothing is done, and will therefore "let something be done".

After he is done with my lecturer, he spotted another guy jogging past in home clothes and he asked if my lecturer knows that particular guy and asked for his rank and name, my lecturer told him that he seems to see that guy in the camp before, and he recall that guy seems to be a private reservist.

That OC immediately call that guy over and after done with his speech of beautifully lathen Hokkien vulgarities, he asked for that guy rank name and company. That guy replied "He is the commandant of the camp".

~ My lecturer then concluded till this day he should be still signing extras and remain a Major. And the best part? He did nothing, he simply let the OC undone himself.

Beautiful story isnt it Ma? A good lesson learnt indeed.

Oh, Lawrance, colleage from PSB, asked me ACCA details after learning Ken is attending one. He is 29, married and finished NS 2 years ago. After querying Ken, the ACCA is divided into 3 parts, MCP > something > ACCA.

With MCP costing 4800 SGD, excluding exams, and 9 modules to take.

Good lukc to him, he is a pleasant guy. Wish him all the best in his endeavour.
